May 12 Update

1.  Phase 2 information on VCH bulletin

2. Some good news about the Shen Yun excursion that was cancelled for 2020.  After a bit of negotiation Marnie was able to rebook and receive a discount for the matinee show on Wednesday, April 7th 2021.  PVSS has agreed to pay the extra $320 to upgrade to a block of 22 seats in the front/centre of the Dress Circle ( with an extra $300+ discounted). Although 2021 seems a long way off it will be something to look forward to. You will not be receiving a refund for the original tickets purchased but you will be reissued with better seating and with no extra charge to yourself.  We will have more information about transport etc. closer to the time of the event.

3. The free Zoom exercise classes are now in full swing. It is a new way to workout but most enjoyable. I encourage you all to give them a try.  Remember that you need to register each week for the classes in that time frame. If you have set up an account with the platform the Community Centre is using for registration simply login on click on  pemberton.perfectmind.com.  for help setting up your account follow the instructions on the PDF linked here.  You will need a comfortable chair without sides and non slip shoes. If you can, find yourself an exercise band and weights for the Friday session. Be creative - water bottles full of sand or water or soup cans soup cans can work as weights.

It is fun to be able to interact with each other as well as follow Michelle as she demonstrates the exercises.
